Entre as pastagens verdejantes e as hortênsias em flor, encontramos um cenário deslumbrante. Os Açores, a ilha de São Jorge, onde a magia do amor e a beleza da natureza se fundem numa história inesquecível. O Nelson e o Darren, dois espíritos apaixonados que, como um conto de fadas moderno, encontraram-se um ao outro em terras distantes, unidos pelo laço eterno do amor.

Esta foi a minha primeira sessão fotográfica de um casal Gay masculino, e o desafio me impulsionou a transmitir através das imagens uma mensagem poderosa: o amor não conhece barreiras, fronteiras ou ideologias. O amor é universal e deve ser celebrado com pureza, sem preconceitos. Cada foto que capturava era uma mensagem em si, transmitindo o poder transformador do amor verdadeiro.

Os tons de verde e azul dos Açores são de tirar o fôlego, especialmente durante o pôr-do-sol. Eu queria enfatizar a grandiosidade da paisagem, usando composições artísticas e contrastes de luz para dar ênfase à conexão emocional entre o Nelson e o Darren.

Entre carinhos e momentos mais íntimos, eu capturei a essência do amor deste casal, criando uma narrativa visual que contava a história de duas almas unidas pela força do destino.

O momento culminante foi quando fotografamos a vista panorâmica da vila onde o Nelson cresceu. O barco chegando do Pico trouxe dinamismo às fotos, destacando a pitoresca vila das Velas. Era como se a natureza conspirasse connosco para criar uma cena verdadeiramente emocionante.

"Land of Corn and Magic. A Love Beyond Borders"

Amidst lush pastures and blooming hydrangeas, I found myself in a breathtaking setting in the Azores, on the island of São Jorge, where the magic of love and the beauty of nature merge into an unforgettable story. I met Nelson and Darren, two passionate souls who, like a modern fairytale, found each other in distant lands, bound by the eternal bond of love.

The connection between this couple was contagious. Each glance, each tender touch, and every genuine smile depicted the closeness and harmony that existed between them. At first, they seemed a bit shy in front of the camera, but they soon embraced the magic of the scenery, much to my delight. They were at home amidst the pastures with a view of the Lemos hill and the São Jorge Pico Channel, and the harmony of nature mirrored the serenity of their union.

This was my first photoshoot of a gay male couple, and the challenge inspired me to convey a powerful message through the images: love knows no barriers, borders, or ideologies. Love is universal and should be celebrated with purity, free from prejudice. Each photo I captured was a message in itself, conveying the transformative power of true love.

The shades of green and blue in the Azores were awe-inspiring, especially during sunset. I aimed to emphasize the grandeur of the landscape, using artistic compositions and contrasts of light to accentuate the emotional connection between Nelson and Darren.
