Olá, queridos leitores! Hoje trago-vos uma nova entrada no meu blogue, sobre um batizado inesquecível que tive a honra de fotografar. A Irina e o Gonçalo são um casal maravilhoso, que vive em Cascais. O Gonçalo é português e a Irina da Lituânia. A história deste casal é deliciosa. Casaram na Caldeira de Santo Cristo, em S. Jorge, num lugar paradisíaco que parece saído de um conto de fadas. Desde então, eles têm mantido a tradição de celebrar os momentos especiais da sua vida naquele local extraordinário. Chegou a vez de batizar o novo membro da família, a Naomi, uma bebé linda e sorridente que encantou todos os presentes.

A Naomi não estava muito interessada em vestir o seu vestidinho branco, pois preferia estar descalça e em contacto com a natureza, a aproveitar ao máximo a experiência incrível de estar numa fajã tão relaxante e bonita. Mas depois de muita paciência e carinho da mamã, lá conseguimos levá-la pelos trilhos mágicos até à igreja, onde o padre que acompanhou este casal desde o início estava à sua espera, com um sorriso acolhedor.

Os irmãos da Naomi, Noah e Ioan estavam super entusiasmados com este momento e não se cansavam de posar para as minhas fotos. O Noah, o primogênito desta família, também teve um motivo para celebrar, pois era o dia dos finalistas da sua escola e ele conseguiu mais uma conquista na sua carreira académica. Parabéns, Noah!

Depois de uma cerimónia simples, calma e muito tranquila, a Naomi e a sua família tiveram uma refeição deliciosa, onde não podia faltar o petisco mais apreciado deste local: as ameijoas. Que maravilha!

Batizar um filho é algo de muito emotivo e sentimental, mas fazê-lo na Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo é de outro nível. A paz, o sossego, a brisa marinha, o sol majestoso e a presença constante do chilrear dos passarinhos leva-nos a relaxar e a olhar para a vida com um propósito, gratidão e alegria. Foi um prazer imenso partilhar este dia com esta família tão especial e espero que gostem das fotos que vos mostro a seguir. Um beijinho grande!

Hello, dear readers! Today I bring you a new entry on my blog, about an unforgettable christening that I had the honor of photographing. Irina and Gonçalo are a wonderful couple who live in Cascais. Gonçalo is Portuguese and Irina is from Lithuania. This couple's story is delightful. They got married in Caldeira de Santo Cristo, in S. Jorge, in a paradisiacal place that seems straight out of a fairy tale. Since then, they have continued the tradition of celebrating the special moments in their lifes in that extraordinary location. It's time to baptize the new member of the family, Naomi, a beautiful and smiling baby who enchanted everyone present.

Naomi was not very interested in wearing her little white dress, as she preferred to be barefoot and in contact with nature, making the most of the incredible experience of being in such a relaxing and beautiful fajã. But after a lot of patience and affection from mom, we managed to take her along the magic trails to the church, where the priest who accompanied this couple from the beginning was waiting for her, with a welcoming smile.

Naomi's brothers, Noah and Ioan were super excited about this moment and couldn't get enough of posing for my pictures. Noah, the eldest son of this family, also had a reason to celebrate, as it was the day of the finalists at his school and he achieved yet another achievement in his academic career. Congratulations, Noah!

After a simple, calm and very peaceful ceremony, Naomi and her family had a delicious meal, which included the most popular dish in this place: clams. How wonderful!

Baptizing a child is something very emotional and sentimental, but doing it in the Fajã da Caldeira de Santo Cristo is on another level. The peace, the quiet, the sea breeze, the majestic sun and the constant presence of birds chirping make us relax and look at life with purpose, gratitude and joy. It was a great pleasure to share this day with this very special family and I hope you like the photos I show you below. A big kiss!
